At WedSpark, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. WedSpark is a wedding vendor discovery and listing platform and is operated as a product of RiseCrest Solutions ("RiseCrest", "we", "us", or "our").

WedSpark helps customers discover and connect with wedding service providers, including makeup artists, photographers, mehndi artists, planners, decorators, caterers, venues, and other wedding professionals.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, retain, protect and otherwise process personal data when you visit or use the WedSpark website, create an account, register as a vendor, submit an inquiry, make a payment, communicate with us, use our AI chatbot, or use any other WedSpark service.

We aim to process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection and privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable rules and regulations issued under it, as and when applicable to our processing activities.

1. Who We Are

WedSpark is operated as a product of RiseCrest Solutions. For purposes of applicable data-protection law, RiseCrest Solutions/WedSpark may act as a Data Fiduciary in relation to personal data processed through the WedSpark platform where we determine the purpose and means of processing such data.

We may also engage third-party service providers who process personal data on our behalf for specific business, technical, payment, communication, analytics, security, hosting, customer-support, AI or other operational purposes.

Complete debit-card, credit-card, banking or UPI credentials are ordinarily processed directly by applicable payment providers rather than stored by WedSpark.

Approximate IP-Based Location Information:

Where used for visitor analytics, security or related operational purposes, we may use an IP address to obtain approximate location and network information through a third-party IP geolocation service. Depending on the service and available information, this may include city, region/state, country, postal code, approximate latitude and longitude, timezone, autonomous-system information (ASN) and network/organisation information.

IP-based geolocation is approximate and should not be understood as determining a user's exact physical address or exact real-time location.

AI Chatbot Information:

WedSpark may provide an AI-powered chatbot to help users discover wedding services, vendors and platform information. Messages, questions, selections and information voluntarily entered into the chatbot may be processed to understand the request, provide responses, search for relevant vendors and improve the chatbot experience, subject to applicable law and the terms of any third-party AI service used.

When you submit an inquiry to a vendor through WedSpark, we may share information necessary to process and respond to that inquiry with the relevant vendor or vendors.

This may include your name, contact details, location or wedding requirements and information included in your inquiry.

By submitting an inquiry, you acknowledge that information necessary to facilitate the requested vendor connection may be shared with the relevant vendor or vendors.

7. Vendor Information and Public Profiles

Vendors may create public business profiles. Information intentionally submitted for publication may include business name, business description, service category, service area, location, services, pricing, work experience, portfolio images or videos, website/social links and business contact information.

Information intentionally published as part of a public vendor profile may be visible to website visitors and may be accessible through search engines or other internet services.

Vendors should not upload government identification documents, financial credentials, passwords, authentication credentials or other sensitive personal information that they do not intend to make publicly available.

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that information and content they submit to WedSpark is accurate, lawful and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

8. Marketing and Promotional Communications

We may send service-related communications necessary to operate accounts, process transactions, provide requested services or maintain platform security.

Where marketing or promotional communications require consent under applicable law, we will seek appropriate consent.

Users may opt out of promotional communications through available unsubscribe or preference mechanisms.

Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect processing necessary for services, transactions, security, legal compliance or other permitted purposes.

9. Payment Information

WedSpark may offer paid subscriptions, featured listings and other paid services. Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateway or payment service providers, including Razorpay or another provider applicable to the relevant transaction.

WedSpark does not ordinarily store complete debit-card, credit-card, net-banking or UPI credentials on its own servers.

Payment providers may collect, process and store payment and transaction information in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, security practices and applicable laws.

WedSpark may receive limited transaction-related information such as transaction ID, payment status, payment amount, payment date, subscription information and invoice/reconciliation information for payment verification, account management, invoicing, reconciliation, customer support, fraud prevention and legal/accounting purposes.

WedSpark may use cookies and similar technologies to enable essential functionality, maintain sessions, remember preferences, understand website usage, improve performance and measure marketing or advertising performance.

WedSpark may use a visitor identifier cookie, including wedspark_visitor_key, to help distinguish unique website visitors and support visitor analytics.

WedSpark may contain links to vendor websites, social-media platforms, payment providers, advertising platforms and other external services.

Third-party services operate independently and may have their own privacy policies, terms and practices. WedSpark and RiseCrest Solutions are not responsible for the privacy practices, security or content of external websites or services.

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, including providing services, maintaining accounts, processing transactions, maintaining business and financial records, responding to inquiries, resolving disputes, maintaining security, preventing fraud or abuse, complying with legal requirements and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

Different categories of personal data may be retained for different periods depending on the purpose of processing and applicable legal or operational requirements.

Where personal data is no longer required for the relevant purpose, we may delete, anonymize or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and our operational requirements.

Under the DPDP Act, a child means an individual who has not completed eighteen years of age.

WedSpark is primarily intended for individuals legally capable of using the relevant services under applicable law.

22. Data Protection for Vendors and Business Users

Vendors are responsible for personal data and content they submit to WedSpark.

Vendors must not submit or publish another individual's personal data unless they have an appropriate legal basis, authorization or permission to do so.

Vendors should avoid uploading government identification documents, financial credentials, passwords, authentication credentials or unnecessary personal information.

Vendors receiving customer inquiries must handle customer information responsibly and must not use it for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, unsolicited or unrelated purposes.
